However, the understanding of VTE in thoracic surgery in our country is relatively late, and the recognition and attention are not enough, and there is still a lack of guidance support for perioperative VTE. Based on the current understanding and preventive measures of VTE in thoracic surgery in China, The China National Research Collaborative Group released the first edition of Chinese experts consensus on the perioperative VTE prophylaxis in 2018.
