Description
Summary:Assembly On-orbit is a modular design idea to solve the problem of the super-large-aperture space telescope realization. The sub-mirror modules of the spliced primary mirror require precise installation and positioning to meet the optical and structural requirements. A docking locking device for sub-mirror modules of Assembled telescope is developed in this paper. The structure, working principle and component selection of the device are described, and the key parameters of the positioning and locking mechanism are designed. The experimental results show that the repeatability XYZ of the docking locking device is better than ±0.02 mm, the locking force is not less than 2000 N. The device is accurately positioned and locked reliably, meeting the installation requirements of the sub-mirror module, and providing a precise benchmark for the later active optical adjustment of the assembled telescope sub-mirror module.
