Summary: | In the process of capitalist development, the way in which the accumulation of the system is articulated is essential. In order to revitalize the Marxist economic theory of the accumulation of capital, and following the Method of Dialectical Materialist research, the conceptions that address the notion of accumulation were systematized. The notion of accumulation pattern was investigated, which refers to the ways in which surplus value is produced, produced and accumulated during certain periods of time in capitalist economic history. In addition, an overview of the integration potentials of cooperativism as an alternative to capitalist development and in particular to the formation of the pattern of accumulation in Latin America is offered.
