Description
Summary:Modern medical research needs specialized Information Systems that can store and process large amounts of complex scientific data, while providing the medical researcher with a high degree of flexibility regarding the design of the data structure. In our previous work we have proposed an architecture for such a system based on trees and multitrees, stored in a relational database. In this paper we present the tools that we have used to assess the user acceptance level of this system along with the results of this evaluation. Our findings have validated the benefits of the proposed system and helped us identify some relevant aspects that need further improvement.
