Solution of the problems concerned with manifestation of the fi nancial – economical crisis a particular role falls at science. Departing from the extremely great impact of these phenomena on agriculture and its contribution to the Internal Crude Product of the Republic of Moldova, it becomes clearer than an increased attention must be played to this domain. A profound analysis of the situation in agriculture alones ns to propose for implementation a series of measures concerning the main innovational opportunities, innovation politics and development of agricultural science, and institutional capacity development as well, which would contribute to the reduction of the negative impact of the present financial – economical crisis in which the Republic of Moldova has fond itself. The collaborators of the Institute for Plant Protection and Ecological Agriculture, under the conditions of the profound fi nancial-economical crisis propose a series of the practical measures based on utilization of the natural capacities for density regulation of the pest populations and for reduction of the pesticide press onto environment.
