The study is mainly based on the authors Vianna (2003), Berényi and Neumann (2009) and Ortigão and Aguiar (2012). The main results indicated that Brazil has reached the last positions and grown mildly in the face of the editions already made. The moderate advances show the low quality of our students of Basic Education and their access to higher education. The data presented by Pisa should be analyzed deeply in order to understand the panorama of Brazilian education.
