Summary: | In the successive development phases the nitrogen and protein fractions were determined and ion exchanger chromatography of globulins was performed on DEAE cellulose in the endosperm of the chalasal and micropylar poles of Iris pseudoacorus seeds. The phosphorus fraction were also analysed and RNA was separated by means of electrophoresis on coloured agar gel. Wide quantitative differences were found in the content of the compounds investigated between the two poles and the successive development phases. |
