| Summary: | The preparation of the Necessary War contemplated as one of its main elements the unifying action to achieve the cohesion of the different social sectors that would face the Spanish metropolis. Studies to date do not sufficiently address the role played by fraternal associations in this historical period, so that their analysis allows a more comprehensive view of the phenomenon under investigation. Consequently, the objective is to reveal the links of the Knights of Light Order to the revolutionary project of Marti. The study was based mainly on the documentary analysis, which allowed to unveil the work of the institution in the preparation and application of the revolutionary project of Martí.
