We report a 44 years old male patient presenting with one month history of fever, night sweat, swelling in left sternoclavicular joint and pain over the sternum. Physical examination revealed a 4 x 4 cm sized erythematous, fluctuant mass with increased warmth extending from left side of manibrium sterni to left sternoclaviular joint. Neck magnetic resonance and computerized tomography showed osteomyelitis on the left side of sternum, abscess formation on anterior part of left sternoclavicular joint and posterior part of sternum. Ultrasonography-guided needle aspiration of abscess was performed. Culture of sample of pus from drained abscess yield Brucella melitensis. The patient recovered with medical therapy and no relapse was observed within the follow up period of one year.http://www.floradergisi.org/getFileContent.aspx?op=REDPDF&file_name=2008-13-1-040-043.pdfBrucellosisAbscessSternoclavicular jointSternumArthritisOsteomyelitis
