Description
Summary:The possible identification of gentes groups in the Neolithic population of the central Russian plain is presented in this paper. For this purpose, a systematic analysis of pottery decoration traditions was performed. We suggest that all studied archaeological cultures had the same social structure, which included two gentes groups, but the gens also had a core and a periphery.
