Description
Summary:In order to support the decision-making process and to face with the European Directive, it appears overriding focusing on the analysis of administration buildings because many constructions, owned and occupied by public authorities, enclose offices. These constructions are generally complex for typological aspects, their energy-needs are relevant especially for electricity consumptions and require high-level of indoor comfort. Hence, the present paper presents the logic reference frame of a research that has studied the influence of some design criteria on the energy performance of office buildings located in Italy and proposes an example of low-energy office building.
