Summary: | This article presents the comparison of metaphoric paragon with the star token in mythology (based on the three-volume edition by A. N. Afanasyev ‘The Poetic Outlook on Nature by the Slavs’) and in Russian lyric poetry of the XVIII-XXI centuries. Both texts of famous poets and those authors whose work forms the literary process are involved. There has been made a conclusion about the general features of mythological and poetic consciousness in this article, since all the paragons listed in the work of A. N. Afanasyev (star/stars-fire, eyes, book, clothing, precious stones, silver, peas, bees, flocks, scrofulous rash, etc.) are presented mostly unchanged in Russian poetry. A shared outlook and ideas of different historical epochs testifies to the common basis of these two types of consciousness, which is mainly poetic in its nature. |
