COMPARISON OF THE PHYSICOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF THREE DIFFERENT WATER BODIES

In this study, an analysis of the physicochemical parameters and the heavy metals content in three different water bodies in Bulgaria (lentic ecosystems in an urban area and in industrial area and lotic ecosystem - river) were discussed. The results showed that the pollution of the water body in the...

The results showed that the pollution of the water body in the industrial area is higher compared to that of the water body in the urban area and lower stream of Iskar River. The total dissolved solids value in this basin is 332.8 mg.dm-3. The iron concentration in the water samples is higher than that of cadmium, chromium, copper, manganese and zinc. The metal content into the lower stream of Iskar River is higher than that into the other water bodies.https://revues.imist.ma/index.php/jwes/article/view/12454/10364surface wateranthropogenic pollutionheavy metals
