Summary: | Researches and analysis of modern printed products of the Banknotes and Mint of the world were conducted. Their types, tendency in the making choice of the subjects of images, technological processes of printing and materials were investigated.
The quality criteria for printed souvenirs, manufactured by Banknotes and Mint (mass, corporate (business souvenirs) and souvenirs for VIP-clients) are not isolated and not brought to a single system, therefore the definition of the main quality criteria and the creation of a system for its formation of provision is one of the main researches.
On the basis of the study, the quality criteria of the modern printed production of the Banknotes and Mint of the World were systematized. It was also created a generalized hierarchical model for providing the quality of the production of printed souvenirs emitted by Banknotes and Mint. This model allowed to identify the criteria for the quality of their production ((quality of production, relevance, artistic value, aesthetic acceptability, manufacturability, utility and the subcriteria: the quality of the materials (paper, ink, packaging), the quality of printing (offset, intaglio, stencil or combinations thereof), protection (security elements, numbering, laser engraving), which makes the souvenir authentic, confirms the manufacturing on the Banknotes and Mint and prevents unauthorized copying)), actions of actors (design (design subcriteria: composition, size, color and graphic solution, style and stylization of the image), production events (production process subcriteria: technological process, materials, equipment, personnel, quality management system and distribution), information measures (information measures subcriteria: development and implementation, marketing activities, market access, feedback from collectors and preventing unauthorized copying) and actors themselves (developer, manufacturer, supplier, sales system and target audience)), and gives an opportunity to determine the directions of ensuring the quality of production of printed souvenirs that is important for image printed souvenirs in most countries of the world, and above all in Ukraine. Therefore, the development of this topic is relevant, promising and competitive. |
