Summary: | This paper presents an ergodic capacity analysis of MIMO two-hop relaying systems based on the relay protocol of decode-and-forward.Firstly the expression for the probability density function of an unordered eigenvalue of the system is derived.Then a closed-form solution of the ergodic capacity of the entire system is given through the probability density function based on a new random matrix theory.This closed-form solution can be used not only to the SISO system but also to the source,relay and destination of arbitrary numbers of antennas.The result of simulations shows that the theory analysis matches the simulations and the ergodic capacity is improved in comparison with the simple relay protocol of amplify-and-forward. |
