Summary:This article goes over the legal regulation of the mass informing system in the sphere of atomic energy. Russian legislation lacks a distinct definition of differentiation between the subjects of atomic energy both peaceful and military information on which is restricted. The government has no fixed policy on the coverage of the matter in the mass media. Constitutional information right of every person is one of the most important criteria of the democratic government and it is crucial to consider it when touching upon such grave matters as atomic energy. Analysis carried out in this article displays a number of present problems in legislative regulations and suggests ways of improvement of regulations of Russian legislation.
