Description
Summary:Multiple power generator providers can be considered to make the micro grid market competitive. The main reason for the competitive electricity market is to provide consumers with the most affordable prices. The main objective of this study is to analyze and present the pricing mechanism of micro grid energy in the competitive electricity market by using different energy sources. The central controller of the micro grid is the main control behind all the energy management system activities that participate in the tender for the system marginal price (SMP) and the market clearing price (MCP). In this article, two important market reconciliation techniques in price creation - Day ahead and Balancing Power Market - are briefly discussed. In addition, a brief guideline for the marketing of PV and wind power was taken into consideration and strategies of renewable DERs in market pricing were taken into consideration. Consumers in the microcirculation system are classified as shed-able and non-shed-able load, and this has been discussed as how they affect the demand curve. Thus, a case study review on the price offer was presented based on the demand and supply-side bid strategies, and the effects of energy management, price volatility and down-up load instructions on pricing were also discussed.
