The attacts caused big battle casualties but they didnt show big success. It was very important to capture a front or a fortification. For this reason the mine exploding method- in its history was used in sieges of fortress- was used to capture front barricades by turkish troops. First mine at the front was exploded in Bombasrt on 28-29 of may of 1915. From this date both side forces had been frequently in mine activities too. The mine battles which constitute an interesting side of Gallipoli Campaign, gave us traces which are still shown today. In Gallipoli peninsula especially in Boyun Noktas, Krmzsrt, Kanlsrt, Merkeztepe, Cesarettepesi, Kayacka l, S ndere, Kerevizdere and Kitre Deresi finding these traces are possible.http://canakkalearastirmalari.comu.edu.tr/images/form/dosya/dosya_469041.pdfMining and tunnelingGallipoli CampaignBombasrt
