Description
Summary:The soil management can affect the development of the plant, the quality of the water and air and contribute to increase in the emission of greenhouse gases. Therefore, precision agriculture practices are been indicated for sustainable development and for prolonging life on Earth planet. In order to encourage the reduction of environmental impacts and help to obtain higher final income to the producer, this work aimed to present a web tool (AgDataBox-Map) developed for the control and management of agricultural fields, allowing to register and to gather the necessary information to analyze the spatial variability of the soil and plant. To develop the web application, the Java, HTML, Javascript and CSS languages were used. Frameworks like JavaScript jQuery and Openlayers library and Ajax were used to manipulate the HTML documents and events to make feasible view and, edit geospatial data and satellite images in the web application. To implement the interpolation methods routines in statistical software R and procedural functions were used. The PostgreSQL database store the data and the web application has synchronization with an Application Programming Interface — API (AgDataBox-API) that stores and integrates agricultural data in a central data server, which enables the integration of data obtained and used in multiple applications if the user desires. As result of this work, a web tool was developed and enable the generation and visualization of thematic maps by the inverse of the distance to a power, moving average and ordinary kriging interpolators.
