Shells and animals were studied and the</div><div>samples are housed at the Malacological Collection of the University of the State</div><div>of Rio de Janeiro (Col. Mol. UERJ) and at the Limnological Collection of the</div><div>University of Antioquia (CLUA). In the department, Ferrissia irrorata, Ferrissia</div><div>sp., Gundlachia radiata and Uncancylus concentricus were found. All them fits</div><div>well with the typical species description except Ferrissia sp.</div>
