The authors not only emphasize the need to strengthen the role of humanities (philosophy, linguistics, psychology, cultural studies, etc.), without which serious research projects in the field of cognitive science are literally impossible, but also point out the importance of cognitive science in the promotion of humanities in universities. Turning to the work of the representatives of Russian cultural and historical psychology L.S. Vygotsky and A.R.
