Description
Summary:There are certain advantages to utilizing thin-walled cold-formed profiles in construction, as their use enables construction in all weather conditions, and allows to achieve better assemblage accuracy and to reduce costs. Thermoprofiles have slots in webs that decrease thermal flow through the web, but have a negative effect on the strength of the profiles. The reticular-stretched thermoprofile is the new type of thin-walled perforated profile. Studies undertaken by the authors have revealed that no analytical research of the profile has been carried out yet. Numerical analysis allowed to obtain the values of critical compressed loads for reticular-stretched thermoprofiles with different parameters. Reduction coefficients were calculated for strength analysis in accordance with Eurocode 3 and Ayrumyan’s manual.
