Flavonoid aglycones were obtained from the leaves and inflorescences by hydrochloric-acid hydrolysis of the aqueous-ethanol extracts (1:1). Three flavonol aglycones (quercetin, kaempferol, and isorhamnetin) were identified in the extract hydrolysates from S. pallasii above-ground organs through chromatographic analysis. Additionally, a flavone aglycone (luteolin) was found in the extract hydrolysates from the leaves.
