Summary: |
In this article we present the political party Podemos as a paradigmatic example of public participation via the Internet. To that end, we discuss how Podemos implemented its own web portal through which citizens can participate (i.e. Plaza Podemos 2.0). Hereafter, we present several examples (8 in total) of citizen participation by electronic means in the internal processes of the party. Finally, we discuss an example (case 9) of its commitment to freedom of expression within the new scenario that Web 2.0 represents.
|
