І. МечниковаОдеський національний університет імені І. І. МечниковаThe article analyzes new language trends. It draws our attention to the dilemma of cultural interaction between the classical language of myths, literature, philosophy and modern demotic sociolects. The article gives a detailed analysis of the sources of ideas about the sacred origin of language in myths, religious texts, and in actual philosophical studies. The authors show how complex, different from everyday reality ideas arose and how language forms became more complicated throughout the cultural history of humanity. The analysis allows us to understand how, along with the «demotic», the «high style» language, the metaphorical language, the language of complex meanings and abstract concepts formed. It is explained the reasons why communication in the new technogenic reality goes along the path of simplification, loss of the high meanings and desacralization of the language. Using examples of new-fangled words, abbreviations and stable trends in Internet communication, the authors clear up the relationship between language reduction and the optimization of communication in virtual space. In addition the article explains why it is not worth dramatizing this kind of simplifications and other trends in changing the modern language.http://doksa.onu.edu.ua/article/view/146516сакралізація мовидесакралізація мовиєгипетський мовувіртуальні соціолектимовні тренди
