Working children and the conditions in their insertion into the labor market in Parana

This article focuses on analyzing the profile of working children and the conditions in their insertion into the labor market in the Parana in the years 2002 and 2009, from the microdata of Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (PNAD). The results showed that children occupied are male, white, literate and living in the urban area. The practice the housework it is common, the mother's educational level is low and well as her absence in the home increased. They begin to working around 10 years of age and monthly income from work and household income per capita is low.
