Description
Summary:Necropsy is an important practice to better understand the behavior presented by the animal before its death. In many cases a pet tutor sends his ailing tutor to a clinic and eventually dies without a clear definition of what happened. Necropsy is performed to better understand the cause of death, which routine diagnostic tests often fail to elucidate. The step-by-step opening of the abdominal and thoracic cavities during a necropsy is of great importance, and hence the need to qualify veterinary medicine scholars for this specific purpose. This article approaches this theme trying to bring didactic information to the students who dealt with this theme.
