During the Spanish Civil War, the group actively collaborated in humanitarian tasks and antifascist consciousness among the American collective. In order to consolidate this bond with Catalonia, the Comissariat de Propaganda de la Generalitat published in Barcelona the Butlletí Especial per als Catalans Absents de la Pàtria. Will also examine the historical causes of its appearance, in order to integrate its existence into the study of American Catalanism during the Spanish Civil War. Also, will explore the characteristics that established the group's commitment to Catalan society.https://www.ehu.eus/ojs/index.php/HC/article/view/20962"catalanes de américa"butlletí especial per als catalans absents de la pàtriacomissariat de propaganda de la generalitat de catalunyaantifascismoestudios migratorios.
