Description
Summary:The results of experimental studies the gas sensitivity of SnO2 thin films to kerosene vapor at room temperature in an atmosphere of dry and wet air are presented. The presence of water vapor in the surrounding atmosphere does not significantly affect the gas sensitivity of thin films to kerosene vapor. It is suggested that the process of oxidation of unsaturated hydrocarbons on the surface of tin dioxide has an autocatalytic character.
