Obesity as a risk factor for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Approaches to correction of overweight and obesity
Obesity is considered to be a major factor for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Approaches for the treatment of obesity are discussed, in particular, the effectiveness of biologically active food supplement Hepaguard Active, a complex containing L-carnitine, is evaluated.
