The results show potential/positive aspects both internally (Strengths) and externally (Opportunities) in new lecturers, and aspects for improvement internally (Weaknesses) and externally (Threats). This study shows an example through which improvement strategies for the training of new university lecturers can be directed, or existing ones can be redefined, meaning that the case study establishes a framework in which dominant socio-educational strategies can be reflected, as perceived by new university lecturers.http://redie.uabc.mx/redie/article/view/767Formación del profesorado, Profesorado novel, Ciclos de Supervisión Clínica y DAFO
