Summary: | This article aims to provide an encompassing approach of four reviews published in Paris by Enrique Gómez Carrillo, Rubén Darío, Francisco García Calderón and Leopoldo Lugones between 1907 and 1914. First, I will identify the context that surrounded the publication of El Nuevo Mercurio, Mundial Magazine, La Revista de América y la Revue Sud-Américaine. Second, by considering the reviews as well as the letters and memoirs of the aforementioned Latin American writers living in Paris in the early XX Century, I will focus on the common features of their publishing projects. Henceforth, I will tackle down the specifics aspects of Latin American reviews in Paris –such as their sub-continental and international mediating role–, and I will relate them to some of the cultural and social processes of the period.
