Summary:This study conducted a cytogenetic examination of cancer patients prior to anti-tumor therapy in order to prevent malignant transformation of precancerous pathologies. In contrast to the control of healthy patients, a higher level of chromosomal exchanges (1.2 / 100 metaphases) has been registered in patients with breast cancer. It was found that the patients with Hodgkin lymphoma have elevated levels of chromosome aberrations by exchanges (4/100 metaphases), which are radiation markers
