Summary:Although the climate issue introduced new forms of practices in sustainable development, the fact remains that these actions are framed and instituted within the logic of accounting standards and the expected outcomes in terms of global warming management. The analysis of semi-directed interviews and questionnaire surveys among the administrators of four major cultural institutions in Paris shows that the climate issue revolves around the reduction of GHG emissions and that the application of ministerial guidelines is a matter of individual initiatives.
