Summary: | The main aim of the current study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the proper knowledge required to solve and counteract the harmful effects of natural crises occurring in tourist destinations in Jordan, specifically at the site of Petra. In order to fulfill the aim mentioned above, an empirical approach was adopted to examine and analyze the deficiencies that exist in the current plans used by both public and private sectors in Jordan to face the negative effects of natural crises that strike Petra. Finally, a proposed model will be presented to the sectors mentioned above with recommendations on how these deficiencies can be eliminated to provide better crises management in Petra.
