Description
Summary:In the present situation of Brazil, its relations with the EC are difficult to classify: they are developed under the two cooperation agreements of 1974 and 1982. The implementation of the economic adjustment plans, whit privatization programs and the application of new less protectionist trade and industrial policies could increase the intensity of EC-Brazil relations, specially in the industrial and scientific- technological cooperation areas. A true deepening in these rests nevertheless on the country's inner stability and on its capabilities to consolidate its externa1 relations. From the EC, itrequires a true will which reflects in an increase of the funds transfers.
