VARIABILITY OF GENE EXPRESSION ASSOCIATED WITH CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
The aim of the research was to evaluate the variability of expression level of 18 genes in healthy (children and adults) and with cardiovascular diseases (ischemic cardiopathy with/without atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy and congenital aortic stenosis) human subjects using the quantitative PCR t...

Based on the performed molecular study, a high level of gene expression was observed in the group of the subjects with disease and a significantly lower variation in the group of healthy subjects, which indicates that under normal conditions the expression of these genes is manifested within the limits of the reaction norm and the genetic potential enrolled in hereditary structures and highlights the cellular homeostasis of the body in relatively small variation ranges. These results are in line with literature data that supports patient detection and diagnosis programs based on gene expression profile.http://akademos.asm.md/files/65_70_Variabilitatea%20expresiei%20unor%20gene%20asociate%20cu%20patologiile%20cardiovasculare.pdfvariabilitygene expressionhealth and disease states |
