Description
Summary:The aim of the study is to identify the role and importance of constitutional responsibility in the mechanism of legal regulation, based on its understanding as an integral legal phenomenon, including positive and negative aspects of implementation. A predominantly formal legal method and an instrumental approach were used, from the standpoint of which the mechanism of legal regulation of national security was studied. Simultaneously, the dialectical method found its use, from the position of which the phenomena were investigated in dynamics and development. The article reveals the role of constitutional responsibility at the stage of regulation of public relations, which has a regulatory effect on government bodies for the adoption of normative legal acts in the relevant area. The gaps in the legal regulation of national security are analyzed. The conclusion is drawn about the implementation of constitutional responsibility in general regulatory and specific legal relations that ensure national security.
