Summary:The objective of the present study is to draw a theoretical outline on the procedural collaboration and to analyze if the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) has contemplated the new institute as the doctrine prescribes it. To this end, a quantitative empirical survey of the decisions made by the STJ was carried out, analyzing all the judgments published between the years 2010 and 2019 that used collaboration as a basis for deciding, inserting such decisions in one of the five procedural stages, to in order to verify in which one the collaboration demands more attention from the operators of the law.
