However, this exclusion from labour law is currently in decline. Indeed, the “religious exception” is not applied to lay people who join a religious community for which they work. Above all, this exception is excluded when the religious community is not a legally recognized congregation or religious association. Finally, it should be noted that employees of a faith-based organization may be subject to a special duty of loyalty.http://journals.openedition.org/rdr/395
