Description
Summary:This work aims to analyze the contribution of interdisciplinarity in elementary schools. An interview guide was prepared with five questions regarding the vision of elementary school teachers about interdisciplinarity, interdisciplinary practices, problems and activities involving the theme "water". The questionnaire was conducted with 17 municipal elementary school teachers in Florianópolis/SC. Results show that teachers understand the concept of interdisciplinary. Moreover, despite saying they are prepared to work in an interdisciplinary way, they present reasons to justify their difficulty in performing interdisciplinary activities in the classroom. Finally, the theme "water" proved to be a cross-cutting pertinent issue to promote interdisciplinary activities.
