Description
Summary:The process of group decision making requires a set of databases and knowledge bases with coordinated communication between them. A distributed knowledge-based system consists of several knowledge-based systems, and there is a possibility for their physical or logical separation. The article presents the conceptual model of a distributed knowledge-based system. The suggested architecture supports sharing and integration of knowledge and data in addition to allowing heterogeneous knowledge-based systems to communicate with each other. The article also outlines the implementation of interaction protocols comprising intelligent objects which cooperate with each other in order to find solutions to assigned tasks.
