Description
Summary:In our days, to the process of health–disease of the undergraduate students are not assigned enough relevance within the problematic of the universities. Youth is dened as a period of life during which is usually live disease-free and with ability to undertake and reach adulthood expected. For this reason, we question ourselves in this work on the explanation of the main illnesses suffered by university students and what aspects determine them and inuence the quality of life and development. The objective is to analyse the social determinants of health of the students in the health area of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia Bogotá. Materials and methods: We conducted a preliminary search of articles and related information, surveys were carried out and analysed the styles, conditions, and ways of life of the students on the basis of the explanatory models of the health-disease process: the social determinants of Pedro Luis Castellanos. Results: The ways of life of the identied students explain the process of health and illness, which is affected by the low accessibility to health services and use of the health care system in general.
