It is the result of plum breeding program conducted at the Instituto Agronômico, São Paulo, Brazil. 'Rosa Mineira' was obtained as a seedling from the open-pollinated cultivar Kelsey Paulista. Its most important characteristics besides the low-chilling requirement are the great tree vigour, high productivity, red flesh, and good taste. |
