The authors cover the description and analysis of the experimental work dedicateded to the topic "Terrorism. Fundamentals of Counteractions". The paper highlight the advantages of the "Six Hats" method in the development of the students' creativity, now that the method offers a possibility of considering a number of controversial issues from different positions, thus perfecting the habit of active listening, monological speech competence and expressive argumentation. Much attention is dedicated to the stage of the class reflexion, evaluation of the students' presentations, the activity of the “captains” and members of the teams. The authors stress the importance of the use of interactive methods in teaching the topic "Terrorism.
