Hereinafter, hegemonic, oppressive masculinity meets peripheral, prophesying femininity in an intricate exercise of doing and becoming Shakespeare‘s Weird Sisters, forming a complex mythological construction, whose uniqueness arises from the duality of their personae, reflection of displaced femininity, somewhat grotesque, peripheral within the realm of marginality itself. They are not only weird expressions of the Other, they are the other self of themselves, as alter ego expressions. There is a constant, minutely woven border crossing that does not only (re)define the geometry of becoming, but it also permeates gender constructions, making femaleness look androgynous and ruthless. Foretelling dreams of glory, mightiness or summoning lost humanity, these three Parcae rewrite the myth of the androgynous and its story about the quest of the Other.
