Description
Summary:Under the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the “Green Therapy” for tumors aims to “control” the condition, i.e. “When lethal treatments were adopted, they should be discontinued when six-tenths of the disease is eliminated; When treatments with moderate toxicity were chosen, they should be stopped when seven-tenths of the disease is eliminated; When treatments with mild toxicity were using, they should be discontinued when eight-tenths of the disease is eliminated; Even if using non-toxic treatments, they should be terminated when nine-tenths of the disease is wiped out.… If the efficacy is below our expectation, we could repeat the treatments; But if go beyond the extent, healthy qi will be damaged and it will not be beneficial or even do harm to the repair capability of the body”, which underlines the end point of treatment, or “stop interventions when half of the disorder is gone”. Based on the Green Therapy theory, minimally invasive surgeries, TCM external treatments, natural medications and the biological target therapies are main approaches in our clinical cancer management. It differs from the modern treatment mode. The Green Therapy for cancers treats “patient's quality of life” as our priority. This therapy system is particularly suitable for cancer patients who are aged and disqualified for or failed from classic anti-cancer treatments. This is a new trend of anti-cancer strategy characterized by effectiveness, minimally invasion, quick recovery, easy toleration and great sustainability.
