After end of her period, in order of his son Laşa Giorgi and his daughter Rusudan took over kingdom and The Golden Age ended with Mongolian attacks. In period of Tamar, an important character in Turkish history, the Anatolian Seljuk State and Georgians faced each other for the very first time and the "1202 Battle of Basiani" happened. Queen Tamar, who has serious relations with the Turks, has not been studied in detail in the Turkish literature.
