Summary: | Abstract: Entrepreneurship Attitudes of Vocational School Students. The aim of this correlational-survey study is to analyze the relationship between residential environment as well as family economics education and students' entrepreneurship attitudes through motivation business. This study involved a sample of 124 second-year students of vocational schools and their parents. The results of path analysis show that residential environment and the intensity level of family economics education have positive influence on the students' entrepreneurship attitudes, and business motivation appears to have the highest influence. It is, therefore, suggested that schools create a learning atmosphere which enables their students to develop their entrepreneurship attitudes through real experiences.
Abstrak: Sikap Kewirausahaan Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini mengungkap pengaruh lingkungan tempat tinggal dan intensitas pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap sikap kewirausahaan melalui motivasi usaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konteks Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, dengan mempergunakan rancangan survei korelasional. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dan diperoleh sampel sebesar 124 responden, yaitu siswa SMK kelas II di Kota Malang dan orang tua siswa yang menjadi responden. Analisis dilakukan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap kewirausahaan dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan lingkungan tempat tinggal, intensitas pendidikan ekonomi keluarga, dan motivasi usaha sebagai prediktor. Sekolah perlu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang memungkinkan para siswa berada pada konteks suasana sesungguhnya melalui program kerjasama dengan dunia usaha untuk membangun sikap kewirausahaan. |
