Description
Summary:
The inner planets of the solar (Venus, Earth, Mars) started under very similar conditions, but only the Earth has been able to develop an atmosphere sustaining liquid water through billons of years, what is a prerequisite for biological evolution. This raises the question about the nature of the terrestrial thermostat and its stability egainst internal and external impacts.Understanding this problem is vital importance for the anticipation of the future changes in the terrestrial climate, what is nowadays attack by human technological activity.
